RESIDENTIAL CAMP 2024

Our 2024 residential camp will run from Thursday 25th July to Monday 29th July and will be held at RAC Saddle Club, Wareham, Dorset, BH20 6LJ

 Cost:   £450 which includes:

  • 5 days of fun and instruction
  • All home cooked meals, snacks etc.
  • Stables for all ponies/horses. Includes hay and bedding
  • Fully qualified instructors will be in attendance 24/7
  • Pony Club DC resides
  • Toilet block & shower facilities
  • Accommodation (must bring own camp bed and bedding)
  • Cross Country – British Eventing 80, 90, 100, Novice + a 60cm course
  • Show Jumping all weather arena, including full set of Jump for Joy show jumps
  • XC simulated Jump for Joy fences for you to work on angles and lines
  • Dressage – all weather arena
  • Dressage – boards on grass
  • All instructors/trainers/committee present have DBS, First Aid and Safeguarding certificates

Accommodation:   On site accommodation; members must bring their own camp bed and bedding. 

Entertainment: Fun activities are provided each evening. 

What to bring:  A kit list will be available on our website.

To confirm your place please complete all sections of the form below  and BACS a deposit of £100 to secure your place.  The remainder of £350 to be paid in full by 13th June 2024 or by 2 instalments as follows:

All parents - Please bring a packed lunch for Thursday and Monday to share with your family. Prize giving will be Monday afternoon and equine passports will be returned once stables and camp area clean and tidy prior to departure.

Mobile Phones:  We will operate a strict policy of that no mobile phones will be on the yard, whilst mounted and at meal times. In case of emergency there will be a mobile phones with organisers and instructors.

In the event of the member requiring emergency medical or dental treatment whilst taking part in the Pony Club activity as described above, and an Officer or other responsible adult being unable to contact either myself or other person with a parental responsibility for them. I hereby authorise the District Commissioner / Centre Proprietor or other Official of the Pony Club to obtain such medical or dental treatment for the member as they, in their absolute discretion, think necessary after consultation with a medical or dental practitioner. This authority extends to all medical and dental treatment including the giving of an anaesthetic where necessary.
