Our tutoring program provides up to 20 hours of one-on-one tutoring in English Language Arts and Mathematics through our partners: Future Stars Tutoring, Professional Tutors of America, and Thrive Academics. All tutors undergo background checks to ensure high-quality support. Tutoring is in person or online, with adult supervision required at all times.
This program supports McKinney-Vento eligible students in grades K–12, including doubled-up students and unaccompanied homeless youth, residing within Los Angeles County.
Referrals must be submitted by school staff, including Districts or Charter School Homeless Liaisons, counselors or support staff. All referrals require verification before being approved for tutoring services.
Please complete all fields to ensure timely processing. Referrals will be reviewed by the Homeless Education Program team and eligible students will be matched with tutoring services based on need and availability.
