Form where one can submit their name and a short blurb on why they want to be a part of the Steering Committee.
The Steering Committee consists of 5 roles:
- Chair
- Vice Chair
- Treasurer
- Secretary
- System Administrator
In the upcoming year, there will likely be a large focus on planning major changes - including moving away from legacy infrastructure and refining existing workflows.
Some, but not all areas where TriLUG can improve:
- Website content/hosting
- Server access management
- Determining the feasibility/implications of a shell host
- Mail server upgrade/spam filtering/mail reputation
- Reducing workload of current and future Steering Committees
Some benefits include:

- Community Organizing Skills
- Resume Fodder
If you are up for that sort of challenge, feel free to nominate yourself or someone else interested in helping lead TriLUG.
The 5 people with the most votes will form the new Steering Committee and they will then decide amongst themselves who will be assigned to which position.
