Ijams Nature Center is considering opening a preschool that would offer extensive nature exploration and education in an effort to increase early environmental awareness, as well as address the social and academic development of children based on their individual needs. Teachers would be highly qualified Early Childhood Educators and Environmental Educators. The goal would be for the nature preschool to be a premier, sought after school.
