Make It in Brooklyn | BE.IN Pitch Contest Application

Calling all student entrepreneurs in Downtown Brooklyn…alumni and professors, too! If you’re hustling a startup and have a connection to the area’s higher education institutions, you can sign up here for a chance to win one of five spots at our November 5th pitch contest. Applications are due Sunday, October 18th.

John Biggs (yes, of TechCrunch) will choose five finalists to participate in the Make It in Brooklyn + Brooklyn Education Innovation Network pitch contest, where you can win $5,000 and other prizes such as One Month of Unlimited Commons Membership from WeWork (a $350 value) and a free Zipcar for Business membership with free driving credit (a $185 value)!

You get two minutes to pitch and four minutes to field questions from a panel of judges.

This contest is one in a series of pitch-offs we are holding over the next year in the run up to our 2nd annual Make It In Brooklyn Innovation Summit in late spring 2016.

Fill out the application below by Sunday, October 18th. Find out more info, visit makeitinbk.com. For more details about the Brooklyn Education Innovation Network, visit http://downtownbrooklyn.com/projects/college-town.
