Students will learn time management and distraction reducing techniques. They will create daily homework and study plans based on research-based methods.
ADVANCED STUDY SKILLS CLASSMONDAYS, OCTOBER 15- NOV 5 (2:30-4:00) $245Help your student learn to study strategically.Students will learn advanced study skills to make their learning more effective and efficient. They will apply spaced repetition, self-testing, structured note-taking, and other techniques, to master class materials faster and with less stress. Students will learn to avoid common time-consuming and ineffective approaches.
*In addition to class time, students will also have access to weekly online office hours through the second quarter.
Jessica Finnigan is the owner of DIY Homework LLC. She has a bachelor's degree in Human Development, andgraduate degrees from the University of Cambridge and King’s College London. She helps students achieve their best in school with less stress. She has four children in the 10th, 9th, 7th, and 5th grade.
