Job Board Registration: RE•WORK YOUR FUTURE Campaign

ABOUT US

re•generation is a Canadian youth-led nonprofit empowering the next generation of leaders to re•think how the economy can better serve ecological and human wellbeing. Our mission is to accompany the next generation of leaders to re•imagine schools, re•purpose careers, and re•model companies. Check out some of our past work on our current website

THE CAMPAIGN

In March 2024, we will be unveiling a multi-year campaign called RE•WORK YOUR FUTURE with a brand new website. Our goal is to encourage all employers to accelerate the move towards a clean and just economy, and to provide tens of thousands of young Canadians with hope and opportunities to get informed, get involved, and get a job in different clean economy sectors. We will be targeting both students currently in university as well young professionals up to 35 years old.

JOIN THE CLEAN ECONOMY JOB BOARD

We would love to feature your organization in the job board of leading organizations in one or multiple sectors of the clean economy. Even if you don’t plan on recruiting soon or can’t publicly support the campaign, appearing on this job board would still be relevant and allow your work to get exposure to tens of thousands of next generation leaders. Your organization would be listed even when you are not recruiting, which will help your brand awareness.

Organizations can post more “traditional” positions (e.g., communications, accounting, government relations, etc.) IF their core activities and mission is to tackle social and environmental issues. If it’s only part of your organization’s work, then you can only share sustainability-focused job opportunities (e.g., ESG analyst).

For this campaign, we have hired 10 full-time staff, multiple documentary filmmakers, an internationally renowned creative agency, social media influencers, and a media relations firm. To cover expenses and to further broaden our campaign’s reach, we are still actively fundraising. The job board will be a completely free service for the first 3 months. After this trial period, it will still be free to remain listed on the job board, but there will be a small cost associated with posting jobs (to be determined as we gauge interest and traffic on the job board post-launch).  This fee will not apply to non-profits, charities, or public sector organizations.

NEXT STEPS

Please fill out this form to register your organization on our job board. Note that this form is not where you will provide the details of job openings- please submit all job postings here. We will also provide more information in the coming months about the associated compensation fees for job board postings for private sector organizations.

Our campaign is centred on a call to action demanding that Canadian employers 1) raise support for clean energy and phase out fossil fuels, 2) reduce emissions in line with global climate goals, 3) respect Indigenous rights and sovereignty, and 4) restore nature and protect biodiversity. We are asking values-aligned organizations to endorse our campaign calls and call on their peers to accelerate the transition to a just and clean economy in Canada. We will list the names of these endorsing organizations on our website. Please indicate your organization's interest and capacity for publicly endorsing our campaign:
