Clear Creek County Emergency COVID-19 Assistance Fund
Clear Creek County households financially impacted by COVID-19 are eligible for local support. This fund can be used for paying utility bills (water, sewer, gas, trash, internet), childcare, pre-k tuition, transportation, mental health support, rent/mortgage and eviction related charges. The Clear Creek County Emergency COVD-19 Assistance Fund is designed to aid those who have lost wages, had a reduction in work hours, or other income hardships caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Applications open October 28, 2020 and will be awarded on a first come first serve basis until the $50,000 is exhausted or December 30, 2020. Applications are processed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Emergency requests may be given priority.

Eligible applicants must:
• Be a Clear Creek County resident
• Have experienced financial hardship caused by COVID-19 such as temporary job loss, reduced work hours,
reduced salary, etc. beginning March 1, 2020 or later
• Provide proof of lost wages and confirmation of bill obligation

Things this fund can pay for:
• Fees associated with evictions
• Rent or Mortgage
• Utility bills (water, sewer, gas, trash, internet) Must have a Clear Creek County service address
• Childcare reimbursement
• Pre-K tuition - In order to receive Individual Support for costs associated with preschool tuition and supplies,
the child must be age 4 prior to October 1st and the family must be eligible for Free or Reduced Lunch
(FRL). Proof of both of these requirements must be shown at the time of application.
• Transportation reimbursement – Must be used on essential trips (grocery store, doctor’s appointment, etc.).
If Uber/Lyft are used, receipt showing starting and ending point must be provided as well as corresponding
proof of trip.
• Mental Healthcare services reimbursement

Review and Award Process:
Grand Foundation will make funding decisions based on economic need and applicants will be notified of funding decisions. Applications will be reviewed to determine eligibility and award amount. Awards will depend upon the amount requested, number of applicants, and availability of funds. Please realize that it takes several days to reach all individuals. This Fund will provide direct payments to providers or reimbursements with proper documentation.
