Expectations of CrossTraining: CrossTraining is solely run by Grace Methodist volunteers. Volunteers will help to grow your child’s relationship with Christ and in order to do that your child will be expected to follow the following CrossTraining expectations. The expectations are as follows: Be respectful, Be responsible, Be safe, and Have fun!. If problems arise with your child the following will result: Ist Occurrence: Your child will be given a verbal warning for redirection. 2nd Occurrence: Your child will be removed from the group and a GMC volunteer and your child will come up with an action plan to improve behavior. 3rd Occurrence: Parents will be notified and a GMC volunteer, your child and you will come up with an action plan to improve behavior for the next CrossTraining. These expectations will be taught, modeled and applied at CrossTraining.

Cell Phone/Smart Watch policy: We ask that all student cell phones and smart watches remain in their bags while attending CrossTraining. If you need to contact your child, please call Abby at (712) 540-1335 or Kelsey at (712) 240-0049

I give permission for my above named child(ren) to join the clubs at Grace Methodist Church in the CrossTraining program. I understand that my child will be participating in a variety of physical activities during the program.

I hereby release Grace Methodist Church of Marcus and its staff and volunteers, from responsibility and liability for any injury or illness that my child may sustain during this activity. In the event that an emergency should arise, and I or my emergency contact cannot be reached, I hereby authorize an adult leader of this activity, as an agent for me, to consent to an x-ray examinations: medical, dental, or surgical diagnosis, treatment and hospital care advised and supervised by a physician, surgeon, or dentist (as appropriate) licensed to practice under the laws of the state where the services are rendered, either at a doctor's office or in a hospital. I agree to pay for services not covered by insurance.

We take photos and videos of people participating at church related events, including CrossTraining, and publish them through a variety of mediums including bulletin boards, newsletters, media screens in the sanctuary, website, and social media. By your child's participation in this activity, you give your permission for these photos and videos to be taken and used unless you indicate otherwise on this form or in writing.
