A new application for private music tuition must be completed each year. All students must have access to the appropriate instrument for practising at home.

Each term will usual include ten private music lessons. The timing of these lessons will be negotiated with the music teacher.

Please note: Students learning an instrument through the music tuition program at school may be required to be involved in music ensembles run by a music specialist during school time.

All music tuition fees are set in agreement between the selected music teacher and a student’s family. Fees are payable directly  to the music teacher.

As a guide, individual tuition for a 30-minute lesson ranges between $20-$40 per session; however, the music teachers reserve the right to alter tuition fees at their discretion.

Tuition fees are charged at the beginning of each term (up to 40 lessons per year).

It is the student’s/family's responsibility to inform their music teacher if they are unable to attend a lesson due to illness, classroom activities, sports, or any official school function. Lessons cannot be made up if insufficient notice is given. In the case of sudden illness, please inform the music teacher and/or the School's Reception prior to 9am.

At least four lessons notice is required in writing to the music teacher.

Verbal notification will not be deemed as notice. Failure to provide sufficient notice in writing may result in additional charges of tuition fees.
