Wesley House Application Summer 2022
The Wesley House is more than just a place for meals and meetings. The Wesley House is also meant to be a place where true community is formed, nurtured, and extended to all of Wesley and our Macon neighbors. Our desire is that the students who live in the Wesley House be intentional about living in community with one another through actively growing in their faith together throughout the school year.

There is space for six students in the Wesley House (These costs are subject to change but will be finalized by mid March. Should the price increase it would be no more than $25 per room):
• Suite - single room with private bathroom - $450/mo
• Large Single rooms - $400/mo
• Two Single rooms - $375/mo
• Semi-private - two rooms through one entrance - $325/mo

The residents get full use of the main kitchen in the Wesley House as well as share the common room for guests, TV watching, reading, etc.

All who are accepted to live in the Wesley House will be asked to sign a Community Covenant outlining the intentional ways faith and community will be exercised throughout the school year, including being an active part of the Wesley community. Residents will also pay a deposit upon acceptance into the house and first month's rent will be due on the day they move in. Thanks!

As we continue to navigate the Covid-19 pandemic, rules and procedures will remain in place to keep residents safe and to support their health. This rules will continue to change over the summer. Students will be invited to provide input in the development of these policies as well as feedback about their execution. We will continue work diligently to develop safe practices that mitigate the risks of exposure to residents and members of the community that are consistent with guidelines developed by the colleges that we serve (Mercer, MGA, and Wesleyan), the CDC, the Governor, and the Bishop of the South Georgia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. While we do have a Covid-19 plan in place, it is subject to change at any time.

Currently our plan includes the following:
1. Hand sanitizing stations
2. Face masks made available to students
3. Restricting entry into the house
4. Social distancing guidelines
5. House cleaning and sanitizing procedures
6. Quarantine procedures for residents who have Covid-19 or are awaiting results of test
7. Community support for any individual in the community with the virus or awaiting results of test
