What: PPS Silent Protest against the Demolition of the Southwest Pavilion of Rhode Island Hospital
Why: Built in 1900, the Southwest Pavilion is one of the only survivors from the original Rhode Island Hospital campus and awaits both a fiscally sound plan for adaptive reuse and a much deserved designation as a local historical landmark. It is part of the community's heritage, and, as such, deserves more consideration of alternatives by its owner.
When: Tuesday, March 22, 2016, 5:30 PM - The Item is the last one on the agenda, so plan to be there at 6:30!
Where: Zoning Board of Review Hearing, Joseph A Doorley, Jr. Municipal Building, 444 Westminster Street, 1st Floor Meeting Room
Wear: Black Clothing, particularly a black top
Remember: The public is allowed to attend but not speak. We will be a noteworthy, but silent presence.
Will you be Attending?
No, but I would like to hear more about ways I can help save the Pavilion
