Purpose:
The Waupaca Comets Wall of Excellence is dedicated to the men and women that are proud to be a Waupaca Comet and whose achievements have benefited their profession, sport, business, or citizens of this Earth. These individuals serve as motivation for current students to excel, remind faculty of the potential each student has to make the community better, bring the community and alumni into the school for a positive event, and bring pride to the community as the achievements of these individuals are recognized.

Recognition Events:
Upon selection, the distinguished Comets will be celebrated during the following school year, and will have a recognition plaque mounted on the Waupaca Wall of Excellence in the High School.

The Nomination and Selection Process:
The selection process for the Waupaca Wall of Excellence will consist of a review and recommendation from a selection of the Waupaca School District, including administration, teaching staff, and community members. Applicants will be notified of the committee’s decision.
