Bluegrass Camp is where students will learn to play as a traditional bluegrass band made up of fiddle, banjo, mandolin, guitar, and bass. Students will be assigned to a band for the week. There will be individual instrumental lessons, group/band instruction, workshops, vocal lessons, MC coaching, evening jams and an evening of square dance. All instruction will take place before 6:00 pm, so leaving early in the evening will not impact the band practices. Parents are welcome all day and are also welcome to participate in the evening jams and square dance.
The camp is designed for musicians ages 10-18 and will be held at the Michel Homestead at 262 Collins Rd. Branson, MO.
Dates:
Tuesday, June 6th through Saturday, June 10th
Tuesday through Saturday 9:00am to 9:00pm. (Show on Saturday night at 7:00 pm)
The cost for each camper is $510 which includes lunch, dinner, snacks, music lessons, and activities. This includes a $50 non-refundable registration fee that will be applied to the total cost of camp. If for any reason, camp has to be cancelled, we will return all fees, including the deposit. You will receive an invoice shortly after we receive your application. Total camp fees are due by May 15th.
