RISK DISCLOSURE STATEMENT & LIABILITY WAIVER

ACTIVITY

This waiver is in reference to all Trails & Tots Meet Ups, inclusive of hiking, tramping, walking, and nature-play activity.

*These are Meet Ups, NOT guided activities. You are 100% responsible for the safety and wellbeing of you and your child(ren) at all times. Please read about the locations before attending and come prepared for the conditions.*

UNDERSTANDING THE RISKS

I accept that this activity inherently involves risks and hazards that could potentially result in harm, injury or death. The risks and hazards include, but are not limited to uneven terrain, tripping, sun, wind and rain exposure, natural disasters, steep terrains and cliffs, moving water, bridges, wildlife, other members of the public, trees and branches.

I am aware that participating in the Trails & Tots Meet Up activities can be hazardous if they are not conducted with care, control and responsibility.

Damage to property 

• In the event that I damage any of the public property where the Trails & Tots activities take place, I am responsible for all costs associated with repairing the damage.
  

Participant Acceptance

I agree that by accepting this waiver, I release and forever discharge Trails & Tots and the Activity Coordinator from all manner of actions, causes of action, debts, accounts, bonds, contracts, claims and demands for or by reason of any injury to person or property, including injury resulting in the death, which has been or may be sustained as a consequence of participating in the activity described above, and not withstanding that such damage, loss or injury may have been caused solely or partly by the negligence of the Activity Provider.

I agree that Trails & Tots does not have any responsibility over the safety and wellbeing of participants, including the child(ren) of the signing Participant, participating in the activity described below. 

I agree that this form will cover all Trails & Tots activities that I participate in during the 2026 calendar year, unless another form is signed in replacement.
