San Diego Green New Deal Day Celebration: Event Registration
You're invited to the first San Diego Green New Deal Day Celebration! Last year County BOS Chair Nathan Fletcher proclaimed April 6th as San Diego Green New Deal Alliance Day. This year we want to honor that proclamation by hosting a community event where we can all celebrate together. The event will highlight Indigenous leadership in environmental and climate justice, and will discuss issues relating to displacement and immigration in the context of the climate emergency.

We hope you can join us on Saturday, April 30th from 2 pm to 5 pm.

This event is open to all. Join us for an afternoon of fun for all ages with light snacks, traditional ceremonies, a panel with inspiring speakers, and more! We are so excited to showcase our efforts as an Alliance.

We encourage you to bring friends, family, and anyone with a passion for the planet!

Feel free to bring reusable water bottles, utensils, and anything else to help us make it a zero waste event, and send any questions, comments, or concerns to Bertha Rodriguez at
See you all soon!
