Request for Mental Health First Aid Trainings
The Department of Public Health is working with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education along with Lighthouse Wellness and Health Education Consulting to offer free Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) trainings. The MHFA trainings helps individuals to recognize and support adults or youth who may be experiencing mental health or substance use challenges and/or may be in crisis, and if needed, to refer them to mental health services. Individuals can sign up for any of the open trainings listed below or can request to host a training for a group or organization.

Please note:
The ADULT trainings require two hours of pre-work to be completed prior to the training and attendance and participation in the 6 hour virtual "live" session. Please only select a training that you plan to attend as spots are limited.

The YOUTH trainings require two hours of pre-work to be completed prior to the training and attendance and participation in the 4.5 hour virtual "live" session.
