Thank you for your interest in becoming a Pathfinder Ranch Pro Volunteer. The fact that you are reading this means you have a strong interest and commitment to giving to others and we want to pair you with opportunities that allow you to do so.

Pathfinder Ranch works primarily with children and to ensure the safety of those children, we take a number of measures to ensure employees and volunteers are carefully selected.

Below you will find an application. This is the first step in sharing your strengths and interests with us so we can match you with tasks that you will hopefully enjoy. The application also provides us with basic contact information, references, and confirmation that you are committed to the organization’s policies. Before beginning the application, please review and gather any needed information. This form cannot be saved mid-process. If you prefer to complete a paper application, we are happy to mail you the form. Just send your mailing address to volunteer@pathfinderranch.com.

Once this application is submitted, you will be contacted by a Ranch representative for an interview. If you are under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian will need to sign an additional form which will be provided after submitting the application.

Selected applicants will be asked to submit a Disclosure Form attesting to the background of the applicant. Adult applicants will also be asked to undergo a background check using Live Scan. Forms for both will be provided as will reimbursement details for the Live Scan. Depending upon the applicant’s availability, the entire process typically takes a couple of weeks.

Applicants clearing the background check will be given access to a volunteer website with a calendar of volunteer opportunities and resources. This site can be used to view opportunities, sign up, view previous events, and communicate with volunteer coordinators. 

Please note, the Live Scan background process must be completed no less than every 5 years. A member of the Pathfinder Ranch team will contact you regarding the process.
