Three Rivers Democrats is a chartered Democratic club serving Southeast Sacramento and Rancho Cordova, and we’re working to grow our membership and involvement in the community. Our name comes from the three rivers that shape our region: the Sacramento, American, and Cosumnes rivers. We invite you to join us, get involved, and help build a stronger, more active club.

We are the only Democratic club that specifically represents the unique needs of residents in the unincorporated areas of Sacramento County (Rosemont, Vineyard, Vintage Park and Wild Hawk) and the Cities of Rancho Cordova and Galt. By coming together, we can form a regional club with stronger influence to drive change. This club would cover a broad area, including State Senate Districts 6 and 8, Assembly Districts 7 and 10, and Sacramento County Supervisorial Districts 3 and 5.

To become an official club, we need at least 20 registered Democrats in Sacramento County who are not already members of another chartered Democratic club. All names will be submitted to meet this requirement.

Democrats associated with other Chartered Democratic clubs in Sacramento County are welcome to join Three Rivers Democrats.

Be a registered Democrat in Sacramento County (or pledge to register when eligible)
Currently not counted towards another club’s chartering roster. Names will be submitted to fulfill the charter requirements.

Would you be willing to pay dues to help cover club overhead costs? Dues are $20 per year, January through December. This covers expenses like the $150 yearly chartering fee with the Sacramento Central Committee, the $50 annual Secretary of State fee once the club qualifies, about $200 per year for quarterly filing services with the CA Secretary of State, and around $50 per year for club supplies like flyers and door hangers for recruiting.
