The National Network on Cuba as a whole and the members that compose it, are part of a historic tradition in the United States against intervention abroad and in support of the right of nations to self-determination, peace and sovereignty. You have the potential to engage with like-minded individuals who wish to support the Cuban people, and stand against the inhumane U.S. economic blockade against Cuba. Applicants must be United States citizens or currently legally residing in the United States. Participants must possess a valid passport by April 21, 2023. Since the process of getting a passport may take up to eight weeks, you should APPLY NOW TO AVOID DELAYS. Current passports should be valid for at least 6 months after the trip. Non-citizens need to ensure they have all the required paperwork to legally reenter the U.S.

***Save the Date for May Day Prep Sessions on April 1 and April 15***
Prior to departure, a series of Zoom meetings will be offered in preparation for a positive experience on the May Day Brigade. Participation in at least one of these prep sessions is mandatory for all people traveling on the brigade. Failure to attend and/or late arrival/early departure without prior communication may result in cancellation of your participation on the Brigade. Please let us know ASAP if these dates, April 1 and April 15, don't work for you.
Our brigade is committed to providing people the opportunity to experience Cuba and to develop their own views. The May Day Brigade may at any time limit or deny you participation due to health, behavior, or activity that has a negative affect on your participation, or the participation of others.
The program cost of the brigade is $900 for 14 days including room and board. Transportation to and from the Havana airport, internal transportation program feels, meals, and the Cuban visa are included. Airfare is NOT included, but can be arranged by Marazul Tours for a small fee. See flight schedules here.
The deposit for this trip is $200 and should be paid AS SOON AS POSSIBLE UPON APPLICATION APPROVAL. Final payment is due to Marazul Tours by March 31, 2023. Zelle, direct deposit, and institutional check payments are possible.
