Our AlumNet microgrant initiative is a way to create active networks of young adults and/or USY alumni, who share the same interests and passions. An AlumNet is an activity or special interest group, helping our YALA and alumni communities grow and thrive! AlumNets are meant for individual users and groups, not for synagogue or organizational groups.
Apply to be an AlumNet Captain!
AlumNet Captains will receive a $50 stipend (via an Amazon gift card) for their personal use, as well as up to $100 operational funds to run their AlumNet. Each Captain is expected to run one event, with at least 6 participants.
Captains are responsible for scheduling their event and ensuring their AlumNet participants are notified of the happenings. AlumNets can be held in person or virtually.
Please Note: AlumNet Captains are only eligible to apply to run one AlumNet during the 2025-2026 academic year.
