SLRCH Early Career Day Subcommittee 2026

The SLRCH Early Career Day Subcommittee helps plan the Early Career Day and other related activities at the Annual Society for Light, Rhythms, and Circadian Health meeting. The deadline to apply is Monday, December 22, 2025.

To be eligible to apply, you must: 1) be an active member of SLRCH, 2) be at a career stage at Assistant professor or below, and 3) plan to attend SLRCH 2026 meeting in Milan, Italy (September 3-5, 2026) to assist the committee during the Early Career Day. We are interested in early career trainees from across the globe with basic, translational, and clinical interests in light, rhythms, and circadian health. We will evaluate applications based on the eligibility requirements listed above and the potential to contribute positively to the Early Career Day. 

Members of the SLRCH Early Career Day Subcommittee will be recognized in the scientific program and receive complimentary registration to SLRCH 2026. Complimentary registration does not include travel or lodging. 

Time commitment: The SLRCH Early Career Day Subcommittee will meet monthly from January-August 2026 for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Subcommittee members will help develop the program for Early Career Day and may be tasked with contacting potential speakers. Subcommittee members will be expected to help facilitate Early Career Day and help to coordinate/plan a social gathering.
