"Beyond the Basics (BTB): Advanced Human Trafficking Investigations and Prosecutions” is a free 3-day training designed for ECM HTTF investigators, analysts, and prosecutors with significant experience responding to human trafficking. This highly interactive training uses a buildable case file to highlight emerging trends and to share resources and promising practices to advance investigations and prosecutions of sex and labor trafficking. AEquitas expects to deliver the training October 27–29, 2026, in Detroit, MI. OVC ECM grantees can access grant funds to cover costs. Please reach out to your grant manager for more information. Others will need to cover their own expenses.

The priority deadline is September 18, 2026, for ECM HTTF applicants. Do not make any travel plans prior to official notice of acceptance.
