Cathedral of the Good Shepherd Heritage Tour
Built in 1847, the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd is Singapore’s oldest Catholic church and a National Monument.
As one of the city’s oldest surviving buildings still in its original use, this religious landmark continues to serve as a reminder of our nation’s rich and diverse heritage.
From 2013 to 2016, the Cathedral underwent extensive restoration works and was honoured with the Award for Restoration at the 2017 URA Architectural Heritage Awards, and an Honourable Mention at the 2017 UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage Restoration.

The Cathedral Heritage Ministry offers a free 1hr 15min guided tour by its volunteer guides, covering the Cathedral’s architecture and heritage. The tours are conducted in English.
