Moonlit Symphonies: Request to Visit Form

Thank you for your interest in visiting Masungi Georeserve. This form allows us to receive and review your request to join this special evening experience.

Moonlit Symphonies is an evening of music and food set against the Masungi landscape — designed not to escape the city, but to listen differently to the world around it. It follows the forest’s own cadence, from the hush of twilight to the deep tones of night.

Set across three spaces, the experience unfolds as daylight softens and the city lights begin to glow below.  It begins overlooking the city, where melodies rise to meet the glowing skyline — a quiet exchange between the mountains and the world beyond. The evening then pauses at a pine patch, where a communal dinner curated by partner dining rooms and inspired by the food culture of the Rizal–Quezon–Laguna corridor, reflects the Filipino tradition of sharing and sustenance. Finally, guests arrive at a space of prayer, embraced by the forest’s stillness and song — a return inward, where sound gives way to reflection on hope and home.

In each space, the forest answers back — in wind, in breath, in silence. The night unfolds not as a performance, but as a shared composition between the land and those who care for it.

Proceeds support Masungi’s on-going reforestation and conservation advocacies.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What should I expect?
Moonlit Symphonies is an intimate evening experience that follows the forest’s natural rhythm — from twilight to night — through music, food, and shared presence. It is designed not as a hike, but as a gentle journey through three spaces within Masungi Georeserve, each revealing a different conversation between people and place.

Guests will move through brief transitions of under five minutes between areas, which may include walking down and back up a gentle hill as the evening concludes. The experience emphasizes ease of access compared to the usual hikes, allowing guests to slow down, listen, and take in the quiet beauty of the forest as day turns to night.

2.  What kind of music can we expect?
The evening features an intimate trio of wind and string instruments, performing classic and contemporary pieces arranged instrumentally. The program unfolds in three quiet movements: our belonging to nature, our belonging to each other, and a closing meditation on our homeland and hope. Set lists will be shared on the day itself.

3. What kind of food will be served?
Dinner for the experience is co-curated by participating dining rooms and inspired by the Rizal–Quezon–Laguna corridor. For January/February 2026, this will be done together with Trining’s Kitchen Stories, whose cooking is inspired by memories of home and Filipino culinary nostalgia.

Please note that the menu is not fixed and is curated based on the chef’s creative direction, incorporating learnings from previous executions. The final menu will be released no later than one week before the event.

For reference only, a sample menu from our November 2025 menu with Soil Bespoke Private Dining is shared below:

Welcome Snacks: Blackened Tofu Skewer, Kesong Puti & Tomato Confit Toast, Ensaladang Talong with "Mangga't Bagoong" Pie Tee
Starters:  Shrimp Bisque with Noodles & Grilled Pineapple
Mains: Grilled Chicken Inasal with Dayap and Tanglad, Crab in Cotton Fruit Purée, Salt-Baked Dapa
Desserts:  Cassava Cake with Salted-Egg Crumble, Banana Fritters with Black Rice Cream

4. Who can join the experience?
Moonlit Symphonies is open to guests of all ages. However, as the evening is designed to be calm, reflective, and music-centered, we ask that guests bringing children ensure they can maintain the quiet and gentle atmosphere of the event.

5. Can we take photos during the program?
Guests are welcome to capture memories during the event, though we encourage keeping flash and bright screens to a minimum to preserve the intimate forest atmosphere.

6. What about transportation?
Evening fees do not include transportation. As the experience begins in the evening and public transport options are limited in the area and are absent during the evening, guests are encouraged to arrive via private or carpooled transport with their companions.

7. Are there accommodations nearby?
There are no overnight accommodations within Masungi, but several humble local inns and guesthouses are available nearby. Our team may provide recommendations upon request, though please note that no formal partnerships exist with these establishments.
