ၛPulima Store is excited to collaborate with Juen Juen Gung for a series of activities and a pop-up store at the "cave" in the industrial building.

࿃The "Cave of Forgotten Dreams" offers engaging and educational activities that introduce the multiverse of human primitive art.

ၐ࿀࿁Half a million years ago, our ancestors carved zigzag shapes on sea shells, marking the earliest evidence of human creativity. Since then, our consciousness has expanded, evolving from upright apes to modern humans with complex thoughts and emotions.

༖||||ꇭꇮEven before civilization, our ancestors created prehistoric art like stone carvings, rock paintings, sculptures, and megalithic complexes. In this event, we explore "consciousness awakenings" from around the world, examining why creativity is crucial to human existence and inspecting regional cultures through primitive art. We hope to find alternative paths for modern civilization through these ancient inspirations and discussions.

࿀࿁"The Cave of Forgotten Dreams" will run for two weeks before and after Christmas, with expanded content and more sessions than ever before. We can’t wait to see you all at the cave!

ꔜThe culture of incense and smudging has its origins from religious ceremonies in the caves of the stone age.

  Fragrance of ancient - Handmade Incense Workshop will recreate the aroma of the stone age cave rituals.

  On top of common modern plant base fragrances such as sandalwood, hinoki, cypress and palo santo,etc. The workshop will also provide rare and original ingredients such as tree moss and lichen fragrances.

  Participants are free to mix and match with 25+ kinds of incense materials to make their own handmade incense, which is suitable for both gifts and personal use.

༖This seminar will introduce you to rock carvings, cave paintings and primitive sculptures from around the world.

  To understand why our ancestors created these magnificent primitive arts

Revisiting these “singularities of consciousness” and to figure out why they were created.

  At the same time, through the characteristics of primitive art in different places, we will recognize the cultural origins of each region.

  We hope that we can make use of these ancient flashes of light to illuminate the direction of modern civilization.

ꖐDid you know that Hong Kong is actually an important cultural center of the Stone Age?

There are 9 ancient stone carvings scattered in the suburbs and rurals of Hong Kong and most of them are five to ten thousand years old.

  In this workshop, we are going to recreate the patterns of Hong Kong’s ancient stone carvings on traditional Chinese seal carvings.To connect with these magical patterns by recreating them with our own hands and to preserve them on a pocket sized piece of art.

ꖴꕒApart from the rock carvings and cave paintings left behind in the caves, our ancestors also built numbers of Megalithic Wonders.To name a few, The Stonehenge in the United Kingdom, the Moai Statues of The Easter Island and the Gobekli Tepe in Turkey.

  Most of these structures are at “energy points” around the globe. Both the selection of location and building methods showed that our ancestors have a deeper understanding of astronomy, geography and engineering than we assumed. Many of them are still unsolved mysteries even in the modern times, as it's still challenging for us to build them with modern technologies.

  The seminar will lead you on a tour of the world's famous megalithic wonders and to discover the mysteries that lie within these ultra time & space structures.

ꗓCaves not only nurtured the earliest human visual arts, but also served as the cradle of music and rituals.

Many modern architectural and spatial designs related to sound and music still imitate  the spatial sense of caves to a certain extent. ：：：：

Primitive musical instruments such as the didgeridoo, shaman drums and mouth harps,will be used to recreate the settings of a cave ritual during the stone age.The sound ritual will conclude the whole series of events as well as sending bliss and blessing to its participants.
