FEES Membership is open to individual adults. Members may apply to store a vessel at the club for an additional fee. (see list of fees below).
**Recreational canoe (tandem) owners may sign their crew up as an Affiliate Member for a reduced rate of $60. Affiliate Members must be accompanied by the Member at all times. A recreational canoe storage fee includes 5 guest passes. If you tend to bring different people paddling please use a guest pass and sign your guest in. Additional Guest passes (6 for $50) are available for purchase. Guest passes expire at the end of the Membership year.
STORAGE. Annual boat storage is available to Members upon payment of a storage fee. Storage fees vary depending on type of vessel. In some instances there is an option for indoor or outdoor storage. There is no seasonal storage offered. Storage fees are not pro-rated.
OFFICER OF THE DAY VOLUNTEER ROSTER All Members are required to take at least one shift serving as a Club Minder. Shifts are three hours and are from 10 - 1 and 1 - 4 Saturday/Sunday in June/July/August/September The sign up calendar will be posted in the Club.
ORIENTATION All Members are required to attend an orientation session in 2018. Orientation dates will be provided upon payment of dues.
SAFETY Members are required to abide by all legal requirements for the operation of a vessel on Canadian waters and Toronto Harbour.
ACCESS TO BUILDING BY MEMBERSPlease note Members may access the building all year using the keypad or keycard system (we are looking into that system). The building is not heated. There are no toilets or running water from November 15 until May 15. Our Member Handbook will be emailed to you after you have paid your dues. It outlines rules around how and when Members may use the facilities, code of behaviour and housekeeping items. For example: Members are not permitted to operate a personal business/classes/for fee services on the premises.
