Idaho Syringa Girls State Staff Interest Form
The American Legion Auxiliary Department of Idaho is looking for volunteer staff members to assist us at our Idaho Syringa Girls State Program.
Did you enjoy your experience while attending Girls State? Are you interested in serving your community, and spending a week being empowered by young leaders as they grow to understand the gift of Democracy?  Are you are physically and mentally able to handle the rigors of the week at American Legion Auxiliary Idaho Syringa Girls State including: long days, summer weather, 20,000 steps or more a day, and dorm living?

Then we need you!

Please fill out the following interest form, and we will contact you to discuss your interest/application. Please note, staff members are expected to be present through the entire duration of the program including a mandatory staff meeting around 12pm on the Saturday before session. Applications will close April 15th, 2025, for the upcoming session. We are looking forward to having you participate in our 78th annual Girls State session!

I also acknowledge that should I cancel my staff application less than 30 days before the start of session for a non-emergency reason that I will reimburse the ALA Department of Idaho the cost of my staff background check and dorm costs estimated at a value of $300. *
