This class is for students who love to pencil sketch and draw and also want to improve their drawing skills and attention to detail, including proportion, shading, light and dark tones, and more. Students will appreciate the opportunities to draw with others and practice these skills together.  During the class, students can watch and follow along with a step-by-step tutorial on drawing various animals, portraits, and holiday-themed topics.

Teacher's Bio:
Ms. Evelyn Chen is currently a junior at Mission San Jose High School.  She has over 10 years of art experience and a vast experience of working with children from kindergartners to sixth graders in after-school and art camps. Her wish for the class is to expand her knowledge of art to others and allow kids to have fun.

Beginner (no prerequisite required)

Supply list:
Pencil, paper, eraser
2 pieces of any blank paper per class. 2B pencil recommended, but not required.
Color pencils and other easy-to-find art supplies may be required in the later part of the sessions.

2 sessions are offered in Spring 2021: (10 classes each session)
Session 1:  Jan 16 to Mar 20
Session 2:  Mar 27 to Jun 5  (No class on Apr 10, 2021)

Fee:  $100 for 10 classes

The class will be taught in English and will be hosted through Zoom. You will receive an email with the meeting ID and password one day before the camp.
