Scottish Attachment in Action and our partners are working on an Education Project which is looking at schools who show they love and care for their pupils. We want to understand and โmapโ what schools do across Scotland so that we can help improve the experience for you, your children and their teachers.

Attachment is an emotional bond with another person. A school with an attachment focused approach recognises that all pupils have the right to feel secure and safe in their lives and relationships. All staff know the lasting impact of trauma and lack of safety upon pupils and their relationships and use this knowledge to understand behaviours and support young people through their emotional learning.
