GEAR REPARATIONS: REQUESTS
Bay Area Girls Rock Camp is starting a new program through which we engage in the work of reparations by funneling musical gear from donors directly to Black and Indigenous community members. This program is open to any Black and Indigenous folks living in the Bay Area, but will prioritize youth, people living in Oakland, and those whose genders are marginalized: women, trans and gender-expansive folks. Requests will be fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis, and are reliant on the offers for donation we are receiving.

Tell us what kind of gear you want! *
We receive a lot of donations of guitars, amps, and drum sets, so those are the easiest/quickest requests to fill. That being said, ask for whatever you want! We are happy to use our network and resources to help you look for what you want.
If we can find gear for you, are you able to pick it up? *
Ideally you are able to pick up your gear at our storage space in downtown Oakland. It will be sanitized beforehand and passed off outside. If you need it delivered, though, let us know! We can reach out to our network of volunteers to find someone who can bring it to you.
