PR and Marketing Plans Award

Eligibility Guidelines (please follow Eligibility Guidelines exactly or entry will be disqualified):
- Entry must be electronically submitted by February 2, 2018.
- Entry fee and hard copies of materials must be postmarked by February 2, 2018.
- Entry must have been published or created for the first time between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017.
- Supporting materials, such as news clippings, timelines, ads, surveys or press releases, can be mailed.
- Each entry’s work must be original.
- Entry must not have received an OHSPRA award in the past five years.
- There is no limit to how many entries a person may submit in this category.
- Any Ohio school, school district, or education-related organization may enter the contest.
- Entry support materials cannot be submitted in a binder, folder, document cover, or notebook.

Judging Criteria:
• Research/Analysis – How was it determined that this plan was needed? What are the goals of the plan?
• Planning – How were the appropriate activities/actions determined? What are individual responsibilities? What was the plan timeline?
• Execution/Communication – Who are the target audiences and what communication methods will be used to reach those audiences? How does the plan support the organization’s mission, beliefs, vision, purpose and/or strategic plan? What is the project time frame/timeline?
• Evaluation – What were the success and obstacles of the plan? How were they/will they be measured/identified?


Entry Fee and Submission:

NOTE: OHSPRA members include only those people who have purchased an individual membership or were one of the people specifically named in an institutional membership. Institutional memberships include up to three people; a fourth can be added for $55. All others qualify as non-members.

OHSPRA MEMBERS: $60 NON-MEMBERS: $85

NOTE: Entries will not be returned and become the property of OHSPRA. Submit payment and hard copies of materials to: OHSPRA, P.O Box 891, Columbus, OH 43085. Make checks payable to OHSPRA. Appropriate payment must be submitted to OHSPRA with a postmark date of February 2, 2018 or before to avoid disqualification. OHSPRA cannot accept purchase orders. Fees cannot be returned.
