Reconciliation Week 2021                                         More than a word... Reconciliation takes action.

Reconciliation Australia promotes and facilitates respect, trust and positive relationships between the wider Australian community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This year,  National Reconciliation Week (NRW) encourages all Australians towards braver and more impactful ACTION for reconciliation.

The dates for NRW remain the same each year; 27 May to 3 June. These dates commemorate two significant milestones in the reconciliation journey— the successful 1967 referendum, and the High Court Mabo decision respectively.

At DMSC, one way we can show action is to encourage our student, teachers and the broader community to think about some small changes each of us CAN DO to promote reconciliation.
