AAJA Diverse Muslim Sources (DMS) Database [Request Access]
The Asian American Journalists Association’s Muslim American Task Force (MATF) is developing a database of sources on Muslim and Muslim American issues, as a resource to journalists covering the topic. AAJA-MATF is accepting requests from journalists to access the database.

**This database is for use by journalists, and access to the database will be granted on an individual basis.**

AAJA-MATF will consider a variety of factors to determine who will have access to the database, including, but not limited to: professional affiliation and whether DMS would be used for a non-commercial journalistic purpose. AAJA reserves the right to reject any requests to access the database, and to rescind access to any user (including AAJA members) abusing access this database.

**All sources are entered into the Diverse Muslim Sources Database with their consent.**

Sources include, but are not limited to: attorneys, advocates, community leaders, translators and academics.

AAJA-MATF accepts sources into the database on a rolling basis, and considers a variety of factors to determine who will be accepted into DMS, including, but not limited to: professional affiliation and area of expertise. We reserve the right to reject any source submission into the database.

The Diverse Muslim Sources (DMS) database is intended for use by journalists covering Muslim and Muslim American communities and issues, to ensure fair and accurate media coverage through a variety of voices and experts. AAJA-MATF expects users to use the database ethically and with journalistic integrity. The information included in this database are not intended for public distribution, as the sources listed here agreed to submit their information specifically for journalistic use to ensure fair and accurate coverage of Muslim and Muslim American stories. AAJA-MATF reserves the right to rescind access to any user (including AAJA members) abusing access to DMS.
