Michigan Sierra Club's 2019 Fall Citizen Lobby Day - REGISTRATION
Fill out this form to sign up for the Sierra Club's 2019 fall Citizen Lobby Day!

Lobby Day will convene on Wednesday, October 2 at the Central United Methodist Church in Lansing from 8:45am-3:30pm. The church is located at 215 N. Capitol Ave., Lansing, at the corner of Capitol & Ottawa, just across the street from the Capitol Building. We will also be having a fundraiser directly after lobby day from 3:30-6pm at Troppo (111 E Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI 48933), located right down the street from the capitol.

We will be pushing lawmakers to approve legislation that will increase access to Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations HB 4786-4789 and 4839/SB 406-409 in Michigan. We'll also be lobbying lawmakers to enable energy freedom (net metering, community renewable energy projects, solar property tax fix, and microgrids).

This is a great opportunity to educate Michigan legislators about critical environmental issues that YOU care about. All lobbying takes place in teams of 2 to 6 people. Each team will be led by an experienced Lead Lobbyist who knows their way around the Capitol and will lead the meetings. No experience is necessary to participate.

Lobby Day costs $10, which is payable at the event by check, cash, or credit card. This helps us cover half of the event cost.
