Furnishing Futures creates trauma-informed healing homes for women and children who have escaped domestic abuse and been placed in empty social housing.

We rely on our wonderful team of regular volunteers to sort and log donations in our warehouse in Leyton, East London during office hours in the week. Most volunteers work with us once a week, but some help out a couple of times a month. We would particularly love to hear from professional trades people, such as floor fitters, decorators and van drivers.

Volunteer recruitment is subject to a DBS check and a signed agreement. We will only ask a volunteer to work in a woman's home once they have been volunteering regularly with us for a while.
