Cursillo Team Application
Please note: For the Fall 2025 Cursillo weekend, there is a $150 cost per person. This includes candidates as well as team members.
Qualifications to Serve on a Team (for
Conference Room Team Members)
- Conference Room team members will be selected from those who are committed to the use of the Cursillo method by participating in Friendship Group Reunion, Ultreya and the School of Leaders.
- Team members assigned to talks must study and prepare their assignments using the current Cursillo Manual and the Leaders' Manual, and have the talks ready to be critiqued at the scheduled Team Formation meeting.
- All Conference room team must be a member of the School of Leaders. Assistance in the preparation of rollos is available in the school so that you may be prepared prior to formation.
- Conference Room team members are asked to contact the new Cursillistas at their tables to encourage them in their Fourth Day. Team members should encourage the candidates to attend Ultreya and, when possible, be willing to meet with new Friendship Group Reunions for at least a few meetings to help them with the format.
Qualifications to Serve on a Team (for
All Team Members)
- All team members must be in a Friendship Group Reunion and attending Ultreya.
- All team members must attend all scheduled Team Formation meetings and the Team retreat.
- All team members will be asked to contribute to the cost of the weekend just as Candidates are. However, inability to pay all or part of the cost will not in and of itself disqualify someone from working on a team.
- All team members are asked to attend the Post-Cursillo reunion of the new Cursillistas approximately one week after the weekend.
