Consider the following steps when figuring out your goal, refer back to Jarrod's Goal Video if needed:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t0dthpzx1xcStep 1: What is your goal?
-Self reflect. Think about where you currently are and where you find yourself wanting to make the most changes or improvements.
Step Two: Why is it important to you?
-Write down the goal and express it some way. Make sure to include why it’s important to you. Tell a friend, make a post about it, share it with your friends at class, etc.
Step Three: Make a Plan
-Create habits or steps to help you reach the goal. Get help if you need it. Surround yourself with a support system.
Step Four: Execution! Have A Relentless Pursuit of What You REALLY Want
Goals need to have a baseline and a way to re-test.
So, for example, if your goal is related to body composition, you may want to take before and after pictures, weigh and measure yourself, or have certain clothes that you want to gage how they fit. If your goal is performance related, you may be testing and retesting a certain workout, you may take pictures of your squat positioning at the start and end of the challenge, video a pullup attempt on day 1 and day 50, test and retest a certain lift, or use the workouts programmed during the first week of the challenge as your start and end points.
