Roc NORML is run 100% by volunteers and through donations. If you’re interested in getting involved with Roc NORML as a volunteer, the first step to getting involved is to educate yourself. There is always something new to learn about cannabis, so we’ve put together some resources to help you get started - go to
rocnorml.org/resources to check them out.
We are always looking for folks to join our team of volunteers, which includes but is not limited to any or all of the following:
- flyer for events
- outreach to promote events
- collecting email addresses
- tabling at outreach events
- promoting on social media
- writing blog posts, letters to the editor, op-eds
- taking photographs or video
- designing promotional materials
- creating educational content
- data collection and entry
- event planning
- social media content creation
- setting up for events
- voter education
- political canvassing and surveying
- working the outreach table at events
- anything else you can think of that would help our movement!
Throughout the year we'll be focusing on a variety of different events, including but not limited to:
- Membership and networking meetings
- Educational events
- Grassroots lobbying
- Community building
- Outreach and education through social media and print campaigns, and at community events like health fairs, concerts and festivals
