The Detroit Future Fund: American Rescue Plan Funding Priorities
Detroit will receive $826 Million from the Federal American Rescue Plan Act.  $400 Million will be used as COVID relief funding to restore the City's budget.  For the remaining $426 Million, the Mayor wants to hear from you on how the Detroit Future Fund should be spent. These funds must be fully spent by 2024 and can be used to support households, nonprofits, and small business.

For more information on funding requirements and the Detroit Future Fund, read the Mayor's American Rescue Plan presentation here: https://detroitmi.gov/sites/detroitmi.localhost/files/2021-05/Final%20ARPA%205.25.pdf

Separate from these funds, the City expects to receive significant investment from other sources including health, transit, housing and evictions, and water and lead pipe replacements.
