YSOECI String Intensive Workshop

Hargreaves Music Building

10:00-12:00 am for younger students (Suzuki, Prelude, and Overture)
10:00-1:30 for older students (Intermezzo and YSO)
Pizza lunch provided at 12:00 (younger students invited to stay if they wish).
Students will build string skills, working in small and large groups, through instruction by Dr. Matt Spieker and Partnership Program teachers.
Suzuki students will play music games to reinforce and introduce new violin and music reading concepts and skills.
Registration is free! Invite a friend (who already studies a string instrument)!

YSOECI Student Photo & Video Agreement: Highlighting the achievements and celebrating the successes of our students, and sharing the hard work of students and staff with the community is a priority for the YSOECI. Throughout the year, there is often an opportunity to photograph and/or video record students in a variety of YSOECI activities. These photos/videos may be used in YSOECI communication tools in a variety of ways including the YSOECI website or Facebook page, YSOECI newsletters, local newspapers (which may be placed on the internet), and other forms of communication. In these photographs, a student may be identified by name, age, and instrument. Parents/Guardians are requested to indicate at the beginning of each school year their wishes regarding YSOECI’s use of student photographs, video recordings, and or images. Parents/Guardians who allow their student to participate in or attend events that are open to the public are assumed to have given implied consent to allow their student to be photographed.
