Please note that Rotary clubs apply the following criteria when considering an invitation to a potential new member:
1. A member shall be of "good character and good business, professional and/or community reputation". This is further defined as:
"engaged (or previously engaged) as a proprietor, partner, corporate officer, or manager of any worthy and recognised business"
"hold (or previously held) an important position in any worthy recognised business or profession ... and have executive capacity with discretionary authority:
"being a community leader who has demonstrated through personal involvement in community affairs a commitment to service and the Object of Rotary"
2. Each club shall have a well balanced membership in which no one business, profession or type of community service dominates.
