Serving Newcomers to Canada
Burman University is evaluating the receptivity of various groups to a proposed one-year certificate program designed to prepare pastors and lay people to better serve new immigrants, refugees, and other newcomers to Canada. The program is currently planning to include the following topics: Biblical approach to caring for newcomers, family dynamics, human rights, finances, intercultural relationships, Canadian sports, and more).
