Discover Quincy Holiday Art Pop Up Artisan Application 2018
Calling all local artisans! Thanks to a local business, Discover Quincy welcomes local artists with the opportunity to show and sell their work at our temporary retail location during the holiday season.

Applicants will be juried and accepted until all spaces are filled. Priority will be given to Quincy area artists to sell unique, handmade works; art, ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, metalwork, mixed media, photography, woodwork and more. Vendor acceptance is based upon the quality and originality of the work as well as booth presentation. Booth space sizes to be determined individually. Artwork will be displayed on 3’X6’ panels with each artist assigned one panel for the duration of the show. In order to ensure a balanced and varied selection of exhibitors, we may limit the number of exhibitors accepted in any single genre. This is an exciting opportunity for local artists to sell their work within the up-and-coming art community in Quincy.

November 1: application priority deadline (as we are doing this on such short notice, we will leave the application open)
November 8: accepted artists notified
November 27 & 28: artist load in 11am - 7pm
November 30 - December 22: Open Daily 11am-7pm
December 22: 7-10pm artist breakdown
December 23: 9am - 2pm artist breakdown
We are still working on the logistics of our 2018 location.

While Discover Quincy is heavily subsidizing the retail space, we will require a 15% commission on sales. Artists are required to volunteer a minimum of four hours. Fees will be utilized to cover expenses including advertising. Artists will be paid for their sales at the conclusion of the event.
