Thanks for your interest in the Indic - Himalayan Writing Scholarships. The information in this form helps us get to know you better as a writer, and as a fit for this scholarship. If you do not have a writing sample handy, please put something down and share it. We cannot entertain any applications without a writing sample.

If your preferred writing language is not English, please share a translation of your work. While the Himalayan workshops are open to writers of all languages, the medium of instruction, examples, readings and sessions are all in English.

Please note that the venue is a 200 yard walk from the main road. The rooms are spread out across the campus on different levels. Two participants share one room. Travel costs are not included in the scholarship and have to be borne by the applicant.

Thank you for your submission. We will finalize the scholarship decisions three weeks before each event (Oct 31, 2019 for the "Creative writing with Meditation" and Nov 9, 2019 for the Bootcamp). If you are accepted, you will have one day to confirm your spot by sharing a copy of your confirmed travel bookings. In the absence of the confirmation, your spot maybe released to another applicant.
