The Solar Ready Vets Corporate Fellowship Program: Employer Application
Thanks for your interest in the Solar Ready Vets Fellowship! Alongside Hiring Our Heroes, The Solar Foundation, SEIA and NABCEP look forward to working with you to support veteran talent for a brighter future.

Through the Hiring Our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program, The SRV Fellowship places mid to senior-level active duty service members into 12-week-long fellowships with solar employers to support a smooth transition from military service to the civilian solar workforce.

PLEASE NOTE: The Hiring Our Heroes/ Solar Ready Vets Fellowship is intended for professional / management positions, rather than electrical and installation roles.

Interested employers must:

- Offer the fellowship in positions typically requiring a Bachelor's degree and leadership experience (or equivalent)

- Review resumes and interview potential candidates

- Host fellow(s) for 12 weeks of on-the-job training and hands-on experience in roles where the company has open requisitions that they seek to fill.

- Be willing to interview fellows for professional (engineering / finance / management-level) positions (or roles with a comparable salary level) and/or be willing to refer fellows to opportunities within the company’s network
