SPECIAL PRICINGS

OPPORTUNITY FUND: If your school is in a position to pay more than our set prices, and you would like to help a less fortunate school, please consider making a donation over and above the amount due for your visit.

4th TERM SPECIAL:
As long as you get permission from your Circuit Manager to go out in the fourth term, we can offer a discount of 25%.
This applies to public schools only.

WESSA ECO-SCHOOLS
Schools registered for the WESSA Eco-Schools programme may qualify for a 25% discount for one lesson per year if the lesson links with your school's chosen theme

QUINTILE 2 & 3 SCHOOLS MAY APPLY TO COME FOR FREE
We are offering four different schools per year the opportunity to come for a free outing.

*If you wish to make use of these special offers, please indicate this under 'Special Pricing' in the form below.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF OUR BOOKING PROCEDURES:
1. Select a lesson and check that it is suitable for your class and your learning programme.

2. Telephonic and WhatsApp bookings will be considered as provisional, and the dates will only be confirmed once a completed Booking Form has been received.

3. Booking dates are allocated on a ‘first come first served’ basis, and according to availability. If these do not suit you, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can change them.

4. All bookings will be confirmed in writing by email. We will supply you with the following:

• a Confirmation Form with the dates and times of your lesson(s)
• a map to get to the venue
• a Lesson Plan which you can submit to your District Office as part of your motivation
• an Invoice for the lesson
• Worksheets for duplication (if applicable)
• Final Details for Field Studies

5. Apply to your District Office for permission 4 weeks ahead of time. Keep this in mind when you make your booking, as we will also need time to confirm all bookings with you (government schools only).

6. Please let us know in good time if the numbers of learners changes from the number you originally booked for.

7. Postponements of visits due to the weather, illness and other unforeseen circumstances are sometimes inevitable. In such an event, we will always try to fit you in at a suitable later date.

8. Cancellations or no-shows: last-minute cancellations mean that other schools lose out on the opportunity of visiting us. We charge a cancellation penalty of 50% of the Invoice for schools that cancel less than 4 weeks before their visit.
Covid-19 arrangements
1. Like all schools, we have had to implement special procedures linked to Covid-19.
2. These include social distancing and so our teachers will only teach a maximum of 15 learners at a time.
3. This means that most classes will have to be divided into at least two groups. We will make sure we have at least two
teachers available so that two groups can come on the same day. But they will be in separate venues and have different
break times.
4. We will provide hand sanitiser, but learners and teachers must bring their own masks.
5. Some of our off-site venues may not be available; we will keep you informed.
6. Some of our lessons that rely on close group work will also not be available.
7. For our popular lesson ‘When Great-Granny/Grandpa was at School’, we regret that we will not be able to provide costumes
at this time, as it is not practical to wash and iron them every day. We suggest that the children just wear their normal school
uniform (if applicable to your school).
8. All this is subject to the restrictions on school outings being lifted by WCED.
