Identity Statement:We are a multidisciplinary group of Asian-American healthcare professionals in Washington State, representing all areas of the healthcare industry, including Medicine, Law, Healthcare Administration, Quality & Patient Safety, Nursing, and Public Health Policy & Advocacy.
Value Proposition: As a member, you will gain exclusive access to AHLF and ACHE resources, which include invitations to private networking events, continual education, professional development, mentorship, and regular information exchange with local and national AHLF members. _____________________________________________________________________________Why you should join the Mentorship Program:Mentoring relationships are one of the keys to success for the few executives of color that have successfully broken through the difficult and persistent glass ceiling. Mentors can serve several different roles depending on the mentee’s interests - (1) as a coach, to help with career advice, (2) as a sponsor, to provide opportunities to the mentee for professional development, (3) as emotional/social support, to be someone the mentee sees as a role model, and (4) as a promoter, to expand a mentee’s social network.
As an ACHE/AHLF member, you would get full access to AHLF's Mentorship Directory of healthcare professionals at all stages of their careers.
Remember: Anyone can be a mentee or mentor - the program is meant to encourage a supportive learning ecosystem.
