Franklin Park Coalition will host a virtual meeting with the Parks and Recreation Department to launch the City's restoration of Franklin Park's woodlands and natural areas. The Department's Urban Wilds & Natural Areas Team, which was recently charged with the task of creating and overseeing a Franklin Park natural areas crew, will present and discuss new ecological restoration efforts in Long Crouch Woods and elsewhere in Franklin Park.  The meeting will be an excellent opportunity for the community and new Parks staff to meet each other and discuss restoration approaches for implementing the Franklin Park Action Plan, as well as to plan volunteer days, educational programs and other ways the community can get involved with this long-term restoration effort.
