Position Purpose
Lincoln Ambassadors are upper-division students whose primary role is to help first-year students understand what it means to be a Railsplitter and succeed at Lincoln Memorial University. The Lincoln Ambassador serves as a resource and guide throughout summer registration, welcome weekend and into the fall semester by assisting with the facilitation of the UACT 100 course. The following outlines the principle duties and expectations for the Lincoln Ambassador position:
General Information
The Lincoln Ambassador position is a yearlong commitment.
Lincoln Ambassadors receive a 1000.00 scholarship for the year.
Compensation is based on approximately 5 hours of work per week.
Lincoln Ambassadors should:
Be enrolled fulltime as an undergraduate LMU Student.
Maintain at least a 2.75 GPA.
Be in good standing with the University.
Not hold an RA or RAILS leadership position in conjunction with the Lincoln Ambassador Position.
Lincoln Ambassadors serve as representation of the LMU student community and therefore all eligible students are encouraged to apply.
